Born June 10, 1953, in London, he was a son of Patricia "Pat" and Thomas G. Young.

Following his school, Tommy joined the United States Marines Corps and devoted over ten years of service to his county. A jack-of-all-trades, Tommy was a gifted mechanic of all heavy equipment and trucks. He could truly fix anything and always looked forward to a new challenge. Those who knew Tommy could attest to his heart of gold, his drive to always be the first to take care of someone in need, his dedication and service to his country and community, and his unwavering love for mankind.

Left behind to continue his legacy include sons Michael (Sativa) Meadows, Thomas Young, Jason Young and family; grandchildren Casilyn Meadows, Brodin Meadows, Mathias Daniel Young, Kierra Faith Young; great-granddaughter Ceanna Waggoner; sister-in-law Sherrie (Danny) Glick; several nieces and nephews; lifelong best friend Frankie Penwell.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and wife Judy (Millirons) Young.
