IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Theresa Lynn
(Holstein) Cain
September 22, 1959 – November 1, 2025
CAIN
As dawn came on the day of November 1, 2025, so passed the life of Theresa Lynn Cain at the age of 66
The passing was unexpected and with her gone, her family are left to grieve, wondering what they are to do with the time they had planned with her. Wondering what their laugh is going to sound like without hers to join in. Wondering what life will be without her.
Theresa's devotion to her family can never be questioned. It always came first whether it came in the form of being there to help them when they physically could not do it by themselves. Or in the form of a plastic container of spaghetti. Or stern but helpful advice when it comes to matters of life.
Though her kitchen is now quiet, and her garden goes untended, the legacy she leaves behind will flourish and burn bright.
Whether it be in the family she was raised in. Her mother Barb Holstein, and her sisters Laura, Gina, Suzette, and Michele.
The children she herself raised, Bradley and Kristin.
The true gift she leaves the world are her grandchildren Marcus, Reighlyn, Gavin, Josiah, Norman, and Taliesin. The lessons and love passed down through generations, have been given to them by Theresa as a mother and grandmother.
Love is not restricted to family, and family is not restricted to blood. Through the years, Theresa has been a wonderful neighbor and a loyal friend. And her family is blessed to have Jona Burris, a dear friend and companion to Theresa, to add to their number.
In her final days, her family was blessed to share some time with her. What they all took as a sign of hope, turned into a final gift before she was taken from them. And thankfully many of her family were in attendance to see her one last time.
When she goes to the other side, her family hopes that she is met by those who passed before her. Her brothers Chris and Brett. Her brother-in-law David. and her dad Gene. And hopefully they start cooking up the best family reunion ever for when the last of her family joins her.
And since she was never one to say goodbye, we will simply say we love you Mom, and goodnight.
According to Theresa's wishes, she will be cremated, and no public services will be arranged. A private event will be organized at a later date.
Special thanks to EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London Ohio 43140. They have been an excellent guide and service provider to the Cain family in this harrowing time. They are offering www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com as a place to extend online condolences.
