HURLEY Theodore "Ted" Hurley, 69, of London died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center.Born August 18, 1948 in Chillicothe; he was a son of Theodore and Nora (Crago) Hurley.Ted retired from Nationwide Insurance after 38 years of service, was a member of the London Baptist Church. Very active in WJYAA, Ted also volunteered at the Madison County Food Pantry and HELP House.Survivors include his wife Karlene (Anderson) Hurley; daughters Toni Lynn (Hurley) Ulrich, Theresa (Joseph) Bayer and Melissa Marie Hurley; son John Q. (Chantel) Keyt; grandchildren Brittany Matthews, Brice Jordan Snyder, Blake Snyder, Michael (Brooke) Bayer and Lucas Bayer, A.J. and Wyatt Keyt, great grandson Hayden Matthews; sisters Irene Seymore, Shirley Hamilin and Kathy Moore; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother and father, first wife Virginia Helen Hurley sisters Julia Penrod and Becky Berkley and brothers Michael Eugene Hurley and Virgil Hurley.Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the London Baptist Church, 1440 St. Rt. 665, London with Pastor Stephen Kirby officiating.
