GLASS
Theodore D. "Ted" Glass, 83, of Plumwood, died Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Plumwood in his home.
Born January 25, 1941, in Plumwood, he was a son of Albert C. and Gladys (Justus) Glass.
A longtime faithful member of the Plumwood Church of Christ in Christian Union (CCCU), Ted had been an electrician by trade for 40 years. Ted's joy and purpose in life was found in helping other people. He was a patient, kind and hardworking man. He loved the Lord, his family, the church and his community. He would drop everything he was doing, even late at night to go help someone in need. He was a skilled handyman before handymen became cool.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Brenda (Harrington) Glass; children Theodore Durand Glass, Stephanie Jane (Don) Eckel, Jason Andrew (Becky) Glass and Benjamin Lee (Jody) Glass; grandchildren Adam Glass, Lauren Avonce , Ashley Glass, Emily Moore, Andrew Glass, Olivia Eckel, Natalie Eckel and Steven Tramell; sister Fairy Glass; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Glass, mother Gladys Thomas Glass, brothers Bob Glass, Raymond "Brownie" Glass, Everett Glass, Edwin Glass and John Glass, sisters Dorothy Ash, Rose Marie Gross, Virgie Hoffine, Wanetta Wolford and Leah Findlay.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 13, 2024, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Tracy Dague officiating. Interment will follow in Plumwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Thursday, December 12, 2024.
