CARSON

Theda M. Carson, 87, of London died Friday, March 15, 2024, in her residence.

Born January 7, 1937, in London, she was a daughter of James TL and Gwyneth (Shepherd) Martin.

A longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church in London, she also belonged to the Coover Society Women's Club. Theda always loved the Madison County Community and was a talented seamstress who owned and operated her own drapery business.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years Charles Carson; daughter and son-in-law Carrie and Anthony Worthington; sister Eleanor (Fred) Ballard, sister-in-law Ann Martin; niece and nephews Gregory Smith, Randal Smith, Todd Martin and Maria Hill; several great nieces and great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Sunday, April 14, 2024, in conjunction with the Sunday Worship Service at Trinity Episcopal Church with Father George Glazier officiating.
