FLORENCE Suzanne R. Florence, 89, of South Charleston, died Tuesday in the Arbors at London Nursing Home. Born October 28, 1923 in Columbus; she was a daughter of Earl and Aimee (Clark) Robinson. A 1941 graduate of London High School, Suzanne had worked for the London City Auditor's office for 20 years, was a member of the Heritage Commission of South Charleston, had attended the South Charleston United Methodist Church and was very active with the Anna Gilbert Chapter #490 of the Order of the Eastern Star before it consolidated with London Chapter #386. Survivors include her daughter Mary "Lynn" (Philip) Ray of London, grandchildren Zachary Scott (Dawn) Florence of Williamsburg, VA, Aimee Leah (Carl) Davison of London, Megan Ann (Craig) Hitt of South Charleston, Jason Ray of Columbus and Seth G. Ray of London; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother William (Nancy) Robinson of London and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John F. "Jay" Florence in 1982, son John F. Florence, Jr. and sister Pat Messenger. A celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, Ohio.
