Susan Annette (Pladson) Bjornson, 80, of London, Ohio, formerly of Barnesville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in the arms of her family on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in the Bluebird Retirement Community, London.

Born July 21, 1943, in Spokane, Washington, she was a daughter of Rudolph Foss Pladson and Doris Ann (Virden) Pladson.

Susan was a talented seamstress and quilter who owned her own business, Susan's Sportswear, for many years. A woman of faith, she attended Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Barnesville, Minnesota, before relocating out of Minnesota. Her family was nearest and dearest to her, and she cherished the time they were able to spend together with the beautiful memories they were able to make. Susan adored her grandchildren, and used her talents to make each grandchild their own quilt. She also enjoyed traveling, and would venture across the country to vacation and watch her multitalented grandkids play various sports and perform in musical performances. One of her favorite memories included a family trip to Hawaii, which always remained one of her favorite destinations.

She is survived by three sons: Todd David (Cindy) Bjornson, Gregory Allen (MaryLu) Bjornson, and Chad Michael (Gretchen) Bjornson; grandchildren Joshua Bjornson, Daniel Bjornson, Annika Bjornson, Emma (Aaron) Becker, Owen Bjornson, Carter Bjornson, and Conner Bjornson; siblings Randy (Linda) Pladson, Sheila (Buzz) Hester, Bonnie (Richard) Roth, Peggy (Mike) Butler, Mary Sheldon; brother-in-law Allen (Linda) Bjornson, sister-in-law Karen Pladson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband David Roy Bjornson; brother Terry Pladson; mother-in-law Audrey Knudson.

Cremation will take place in accordance with Susan's wishes. Public services are yet to be determined.
