MILLER
Susan Lynn (Farquhar) Miller, age 79, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born July 2, 1946, in Columbus, Susan was a daughter of Donald Sloan Farquhar and Betty Katherine (Coberly). A woman of profound grace and unwavering faith, Susan dedicated her life to the two things that mattered most to her: her family and her faith.
At the heart of her life stood her 58-year marriage to her beloved husband, Donald E. Miller. Together, they built a life rooted in love and laughter. Their enduring union was a beautiful testament to devotion, serving as an inspiration to everyone who knew them. Whether navigating life’s challenges or celebrating its joys, they were an inseparable team.
As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Susan was the ultimate anchor. She was happiest when her home was filled with the noise and warmth of family gatherings, always offering a listening ear, wise counsel, and her unconditional love.
Beyond her home, Susan had worked professionally as a Child Support Investigator for the Madison County Department of Human Resources where she was a tireless advocate for children, working diligently behind the scenes to ensure they received the support and care they deserved. Susan was the guiding light to so many and will fondly be remembered for her integrity and the empathy she brought to a challenging profession.
Her life was deeply anchored in her faith. Susan was a devoted and active member of the First Presbyterian Church of London, where she found great joy in worship and service. Her church community was an extended family, and her faith guided the kindness and generosity she extended to strangers and friends alike.
Susan is survived by her adoring husband, Donald; son Bradley (Jennifer) Miller; grandchildren Jordan S. Farrell, Kelcey Farrell, Jeffrey (Morgan) Wittman and Jonnie Wittman; great-grandchildren: Ainsley, Hadley, Wrenley, Anna, and Wrett; sister Linda F. Phillips; several nieces and nephews; son-in-law Stephen Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Betty, daughter Tricia Farrell, sister Mary E. Litzenberg, brother Donald C. Farquhar, and mother-in-law Ruby M. Thomas.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140.
