VALLERY Steven E. Vallery, 60, of South Solon, died Sunday, June 15, 2014. Born September 27, 1953 in Springfield; he was a son of Edwin and Suzanne (Rothe) Vallery. Steve is survived by his wife of 37 years, Teresa (Holland) Vallery; children Sabrina Vallery (fiancée Ross Woodruff), Chris (Arica) Vallery, Erica (Jason) Hutson and Edwin (Victoria) Vallery; known as Papi to his grandchildren - Kenzie, Kyle, Vallery, Abby and Coleston; brother Jeff Vallery; father Edwin (Rita) Vallery; mother Suzanne Howsmon; aunts and uncles Carl (Sharon) Vallery, John (Candy) Vallery, Marion (Debbie) Vallery, Norma (Donald) Hux, Carolyn (Tony) Perone, Linda (Donald) Seaburn, Carolyn Wilson and Joe Emrich; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his aunt Martha Emrich, and grandparents Ernest and Marian Vallery and Russell and Chloe Rothe. Steve always had a love for family and farming. He started farming at a young age alongside his father, Edwin. Steve was currently farming with his dad and son, Chris. His joys in life -after his family- included watching basketball, football and Western movies. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St. London with Pastor Sue McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in Range Township Cemetery, Sedalia. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 PM Wednesday.
