SHINGLER Steve C. Shingler, Sr. 56, of London died Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Doctors Hospital, Columbus. Born January 3, 1958 in Springfield, he was a son of Dwight and Esther (Ripley) Shingler. For 32 years, Steve worked at Purex. He loved his family very much and enjoyed golfing, motorcycling and bowling. Survivors include his wife Beth (Flanagan) Shingler, sons Steven C. "Roo" Shingler, Jr and Shawn Shingler, daughter Ashley Shingler (Chris Lunsford); grandchildren Emily, Sydney and Christopher Lunsford; brothers Bill (Janie) Shingler and David (Sharon) Shingler, sisters Diane Hayslip, Anita Robinson and Rhonda (Charlie) Roberts; brother in law Ed (Teresa) Flanagan, sister in law Jean Shreve, nieces and nephews, Jeremy Flanagan, Heather and Matt Olds. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Virgil and George Shingler, sister Mary LeMaster and parents in law Marvin and Margaret Flanagan. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Pastor Cindy Taylor officiating.
