COFFEY Steven R. Coffey, 56, of London, died at 12:49PM Friday, July 19, 2013 in his residence. Born May 1, 1957 in Columbus, OH, he was the son of Paul and Betty (Burkitt) Coffey. A member of the American Legion Post #105, he was employed by Bowman Trucking Company. Survivors are 3 sons, Jared (Sarah), Justin, and Kyle Coffey all of Springfield; a stepson, Shane (Angela) DeWine of Hamilton, OH; 4 step grandchildren; his mother, Betty Coffey of London; grandmother, Louise Burkitt of Urbana; sisters, Cheryl Anders of London, and Darla (Randy) Colwell of Dayton; 4 nieces, Caitlin, Allison, Nicole, and Ashtyn; and a great nephew, Greysen. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Coffey, in 1991 and by a sister, Pamela Sue Coffey in 1995. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY in London from 5 to 8PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 1:00PM Thursday with Rev. Steve Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions in Steve's name to the American Cancer Society or to the Loving Care Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
