SCOTT

Stephen D. Scott, 72, of London died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in London Health and Rehabilitation.

Born December 19, 1951, in London, he was a son of Stephen and Vera (Parchman) Scott.

Stephen had delivered newspapers around London, worked at the movie theater and at Krazy Glue. He also played basketball for the Madison County Tigers in the Special Olympics, enjoyed horse racing at the Madison County Fairgrounds, but will probably be most remembered for running the chain gang for London High School Football at VonKanel Field.

Survivors include his niece and nephews Butch Scott (Vicky Scott) of London, LaTonya Wright of London and Trey Wright of Grove City; many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joan Wright and nephew Deveill Scott.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A repast will follow from 7:00 – 8:30 PM in the upstairs of The American Legion, Memorial Post #105, 51 East First Street, London, Ohio 43140. Burial in Deercreek Township Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
