ROBY

Stephen M. Roby, 66, of London went Home to his glory early Sunday morning, January 30th.

Stephen, eldest son of Charles "Chuck" Roby and Joyce (Snyder) Roby was born on October 18, 1955.  Steve loved life and he loved people.  He especially loved his family.  His three grandchildren were the light of his world.  Steve also loved his church family.  He always sat in the front row so he could see and hear his favorite band, Crossroads Community Church Band.

Steve leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Doveina Roby, three children: Amber Dawn Roby, Tangela (Chris) Anderson and Michael "son Michael" Dennen, all of London; grandchildren Haley Leach, Kaden Dennen and Zachary Dennen.  Steve also leaves his beloved father, Chuck Roby, three siblings Dave (Jenny) Roby, Deb (Steve) Alloway and Janine (Dave) Fagnan.  He had a special place in his heart for his Aunt Brenda Smith, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, aunts and uncles as well as friends.

For the past 11 years he enjoyed the company of his beloved baby girl, Baily, his companion and road dog.

Steve is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Joyce, mother-in-law Barbara Sears, best friend Harold G. Byrd and many other beloved family members and friends.

At Steve's request there will be no funeral service, but a memorial service will be slated for a later date at his home church, Crossroads Community Church. All family and friends are invited.

Memorials in Steve's name may be made to the funeral home for the benevolence of the family.
