NEWMAN Stephen D. Newman, 75, of London died Thursday, August 17, 2017 in his residence. Born December 24, 1941 in Deercreek Township; he was a son of Martha (Kees) and Melvin Newman. Stephen retired from Navistar in Springfield. Survivors include his sons John Newman of London, Michael Newman of Columbus and Chad Newman of Columbus; sister Joy (Tom) Tipton of Rushville and several grandchildren including Seth Crawford of London. He was preceded in death by his wife Joann Newman in 2011 and son Kevin in 1988. A graveside will be held at 11 Am Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Kirkwood Cemetery, London with Pastor Steve Kirby officiating. Visitation will not be observed.
