KIMBLER

Scott Allen Kimbler, age 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Mill Run Care Center, Hilliard.

Born January 3, 1959, in Columbus, Scott was a son of Earl and Peggy June (Ellis) Kimbler. A proud owner-operator truck driver, Scott spent his life on the open road, earning a reputation for hard work, independence, and reliability. Trucking was more than a career to him – it was a way of life, and he took great pride in providing for his family through the years of dedication and long miles.

Above all else, Scott cherished time with his family. He was a Godly man whose faith guided his life, and he was known for his loving, good-natured, mischievous, and ornery personality that brought laughter and joy to everyone who knew him. One of his greatest joys was drag racing alongside his son, sharing not just a passion for speed, but unforgettable moments of laughter, teamwork and mutual respect. Those memories will be forever cherished.

Scott is survived by his children: Ryan S. (Chantana) Kimbler, Matthew (Allison) Kimbler, and Marissa (Randall Lee) Fox; grandchildren: Keira, Kali, Harrison, Carson, Mattison “Mattie”, and a granddaughter coming in March, whom he was very excited to meet; siblings Deb Kimbler, Jeff (Robin) Kimbler, Mark (Kathy) Kimbler and Mike (Shelly) Kimbler; nephews Tyler, A.J. and Jason; Uncles Butch (Cheryl) Ellis and David Kimbler; cousin Chris Ellis and friends and former wives Marilyn and Debbie.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Scott’s request, there will not be any services.
