MADDUX (BUCHANAN) Sarah Buchanan Maddux, 70, formerly of London died Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Dayton. Born May 22, 1947 in London; she was a daughter of Joseph and Betty Lou (Smith) Carpenter. Sarah had worked at the London Pizza Hut for many years, also at Arbors of London and had been a member of Aerie #950, FOE Auxiliary. Survivors include her sister Abrenda Lou (Steven) Bevard, brother Joseph (Paula) Carpenter; nephew Lonnie Carpenter (Michelle Lawson), her niece who was like a daughter Stefanie Lynn Bevard (Heather Miller), nieces Jackelene (Bevard) Jagel and Angela (Bevard) Camplin; many great, great-great nieces and nephews and granddaughter Tessareigh Manley Bevard. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Steve Carpenter, sister Carol Sue Carpenter and niece Mary Brevard. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE: Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Dr. Gary Cohn officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 PM-2 PM Sunday.
