Samuel Leon Allred, age 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026, in London Health and Rehabilitation. Born October 7, 1941, in Miami, Arizona, he was a son of Richard Allred and Leatrice (Donaldson) Allred. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and integrity throughout his life.
Following his military service, he worked for many years as a truck driver, later becoming an author, working in security, and even owning and operating his own small business. Known for his work ethic and independence, he took pride in providing for his family and pursuing his goals with determination.
Survivors include his daughter Samantha Watkinson; grandchildren Surya Freeman, Alex Pulsinelli, Ashley (Luke) Watson, Caron (Kyle) Mershon, Caleb (Sydney) Watkinson, and Abigail Watkinson; several great-grandchildren.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Leatrice; daughters Michelle (Allred) Freeman and Sheila (Allred) Pulsinelli; granddaughter Haley Pulsinelli.
Cremation will take place in accordance with Samuel’s wishes. Public services will not be observed.
