TRIMBLE

Sally Ann Trimble, 72, of London, passed away December 29, 2023, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Born March 15, 1951, Sally was the daughter of Kenneth and Elaine (Rea) Tope.   On June 14, 1968, Sally married her husband of 55 years, James Trimble.   She was a graduate of The Plains High School and worked for Bank One in Mt. Sterling and retired from Showa Aluminum, Mt. Sterling, in 2000.

Sally leaves behind her loving husband, James Trimble, children Eric Trimble, Barry (Kristen) Trimble, and Brandey (Howard) Maynard; her grandchildren, Noah, Elli, and Bryn Trimble and Tristan and Taylor Maynard; brother Steve (Beth) Tope; brothers and sisters-in law Bob (Joy) Trimble, Tom (Janet) Trimble, and Charlie (Mary) Trimble; special cousin Melinda (Belinda) Rea; many nieces and nephews, and her fur babies, Camper, Marley, Sammy, and Cody.

Sally had a lot of love to give, and spending time with her family was very important to her. She adored her grandchildren, who loved her with all their hearts.   She always had a camera in her hand, documenting all the important family events, and enjoyed reading, spending time outside in the sun, and camping with her grandchildren. She was a thoughtful gift-giver, had a knack for decorating, and spent many hours watching her kids and grandkids play sports.   Sally also had a soft spot for animals, so over the years many stray cats made their way into the Trimble house.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Elaine Tope and her father and mother-in-law, John and Vivian Trimble.

Per Sally's wishes, there will be no services or calling hours, however, a celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
