McKENZIE

Ruth McKenzie, 91, of London died Saturday, July 18, 2020 in the Kobacker House, Columbus.

Born June 1, 1929 in Mechanicsburg; she was the daughter of Milton and Helen (Bumgardner) Violet.

Ruth had started her working life after high school at Ohio Bell in Mechanicsburg. She then cooked for London City Schools at Somerford and Lafayette.

Survivors include her sons Richard (Melinda) McKenzie, Tom McKenzie and Mark (Nancy) McKenzie; grandchildren Jerod (Darcie) McKenzie, Landon (Stacey) McKenzie, Stacey McKenzie, Whitney McKenzie and Jacob McKenzie; great grandchildren Lukah, Maisley, Nolan, Reece, Sawyer and Paxton; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard McKenzie in 2007.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Somerford Township Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
