CUMMINS Roger E. Cummins, 81, of London died Friday, August 7, 2015 in the Arbors West, West Jefferson. Born March 28, 1934 in London; he was a son of Ray and Rheba (Anderson) Cummins. Roger was raised in Newport and later moved to Springfield. In the service he met his wife Nola and they moved to London in 1959. A tool and die maker for Recknagel and Grimes Aerospace, before retiring in 1999; Roger was a US Army Veteran, a member of the Madison County Farm Bureau, Madison County senior Center and was an active participant in the Urbana Flea Market as well as loving horse racing and slot machines. Survivors include his sons and daughters in law Cris and Madonna (Christy) Cummins of London and Dennis and Amy Cummins of Warren, IN; grandchildren Nola Cummins, Johnna Cummins and Kaitlynn Burriss; sister JoAnn (Walter) Bevan of Springfield; sister in law Darla Cummins of Dale Hollow, TN; niece and nephews Debbie Nesbitt, Mark, Gary and Steven Bevan cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death his first wife Nola (Howard) Cummins, second wife Diane (McClaskie) Cummins, brother Karl Ed Cummins and companion Ruth Ann Grube on May 30, 2015. A wake will be held from 12 noon-2 PM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Red Brick Tavern, 1700 Cumberland Street, London (Lafayette), with a memorial service being held at 1 PM with Father Mark Ghiloni officiating. The family is being served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London.
