WILSON Robert "Bob" Wilson, 84, of London died Monday, July 14, 2014 at Mount Carmel Medical Center, Columbus. Born May 21, 1930 in Columbus; he was a son of Douglas and Eva (Lyons) Wilson. A US Army veteran of Korea, Bob had also worked as a mail carrier for 32 years for the US Post Office. Bob was a volunteer fireman for Central Townships for many years, was a proud member of the NRA, was a Ducks Unlimited Supporter and belonged to the Ohio Bowhunters Association, the American Bowhunters Committee and the Madison County Historical Society.. Survivors include his son and daughter in law Willard T. and Susan Wilson of London; brother and sisters in law M. David and Karolyn Wilson of Arizona and Donna Wilson of London, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan (Kingery) Wilson, son Michael Dale Wilson and recently by his brother Gene Wilson. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon until time of services.
