SMITH Robert "Bob" W. Smith, 57, of London died Friday, July 27, 2018 in the James Cancer Hospital, Columbus. Born August 22, 1960 in Batesville, IN; he was a son of Ralph and Martha Jo (Lovins) Smith. Bob had been a corrections officer at London Correctional Institute and had previously worked at the Ohio Women's Reformatory in Marysville. Survivors include his son Robert "Wesley" Smith, daughter Jessica Smith; brother Rick Smith and nieces Marilyn (Zachary) Hankla and Melissa Jo "Missy" Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Michelle Buhrmeister and special friend Robert Hoosier. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Tyrone Artis officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon- 2 PM and from 5-7 PM Thursday.
