OGDEN Robert R. "Ron" Ogden, 72, of London died Saturday, February 15, 2014 in his residence, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 20, 1941 in Columbus. Ron was a member of the London Church of Christ and the Moose Lodge in Springfield. He retired after 26 years from the former Ranco in Plain City. Survivors include his wife of 53 ½ years, Janet Ann (Bradford) Ogden, children Robert Ogden, Jr of London, Sheri (Tom) Puckett of Lancaster, Lisa (John) Barnett of London and Thomas (Kim) Ogden of Sierra Vista, AZ; grandchildren Wayne (Nikki) Puckett, Thomas J. (Kerry) Puckett, Amanda (Kevin) Batross, Brittany (Stevie) Ogden, Taylor Ogden, Madison Ogden, Sean Rist, Kayla Barnett, Christopher Severson and Lois Busch; great grandchildren Sarah, Abigail and Keegan; sister Constance (Dale) Cummings; brothers David Bright and Wesley Ogden; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him Constance and Michael Callahan, mother Phyllis Anderson, sister Bonnie Ater and great grandchild Peyton Ogden. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Reverend Wendell Hurley officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of services Friday.
