IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Michael Ogden
April 25, 1963 – November 1, 2024
OGDEN
Robert "Bob" Michael Ogden, 61, of London, died peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2024, at home.
Born in Mount Carmel Hospital on April 25, 1963, he was a son of Robert Ronald Ogden and Janet Ann (Bradford) Ogden. Bob graduated from Madison Plains High School and went on to further his education through technical school. Most of his career was dedicated to the former Medex in Columbus where he served as both a line supervisor and quality control specialist: however, Bob's true passion was always caring for others. He lived out this passion by working as an aide at the former Elms nursing home in London as well as for many private families throughout Madison County.
The highlights of Bob's days were always when he would talk to his family. Whether in person or on the phone, their conversations were sure to always bring a smile to his face and would certainly muster at least one sarcastic reply. Bob especially loved his granddaughters Sarah and Kaydee, and loved hearing all about the activities they had got into that day. An avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Bob could be found wearing an OSU shirt almost every day and was positive to never miss a game. He also enjoyed watching some of the classics in the evenings including I Love Lucy, The Golden Girls, and Mama's Family to name a few. Bob had an irreplaceable passion for life and for helping others. His selflessness, larger than life personality, and sarcasm too will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing Bob.
Left to cherish his memory include daughters Amanda (Rob) Ogden and Brittany (Steven Howland) Ogden; granddaughters Sarah Howland and Kaydee Howland; mother Janet A. Ogden; sisters Sheri (Tom) Puckett and Lisa (John) Barnett, brother Thomas (Kim) Ogden; nieces and nephews Wayne, T.J., Taylor, Madison, Sean, Kayla, Chris, and Lois; numerous great nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bob was preceded in death by his father Ron Ogden; grandparents Orville and Edna LeMaster and Kenneth and Virginia Bradford; aunt Connie Cummings, uncles David Bright and Wesley Ogden; great-nephew Peyton Ogden.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A funeral service to honor Bob's life will begin at 4:00 PM with Pastor Ron Grant officiating.
