GEESLING Robert E. "Bob" Geesling, Jr. 75, of London died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in his home, surrounded by his family. Born August 5, 1943 in London; he was the son of Robert E. and Freeda (Roberts) Geesling, Sr. A life- long farmer, Bob had also worked and retired from CPS. A member of Newport United Methodist Church (UMC), Bob was a founding member of Central Townships Fire Department (CTFD) where he also retired after 36 years. He was also a 53-year member of the Masonic Lodge, F & AM. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Linda (Barker) Geesling; children Rob (Cheron) Geesling, Jenny All and Julie (John) Balzer; grandchildren Sammy, Katie and Sydney All and Adi Balzer; sister Gloria "Jean" (Larry) Ramsey; niece Teri (Norm) Slick; nephew Ted (Lisa) Ramsey and great niece Jordan Ramsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, three infant siblings and sister Barbara Geesling. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday in the Newport United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 3-7 PM Sunday. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to Central Township Fire Department, the Newport United Methodist Church and/or Loving Care Hospice.
