FOWLER Robert Ray Fowler, 60, of London passed on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in his home with family. Born in Man, West Virginia on January 7, 1955 to the late Delbert Ray and Rose Ann (Harrison) Fowler, Robert moved to London where he worked as a foreman for Sims Construction over the past 40 years. From an early age, Robert had a deep love for nature. He enjoyed taking long hikes in the woods searching for ginseng, walnuts and papaw trees. During the summer, Robert and his wife Louanne grew a vegetable garden, berry bushes, and a small grapevine to share with family and friends. He was an avid golfer and a member of the London Country Club. Robert enjoyed learning and discussing sporting, astrological, and historical events. More than anything, Robert loved spending quality time with his family, especially his two grandsons. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Louanne (Davis) Fowler; children Aimee (Ryan) Fowler-Jones of Jackson, Ohio, Britknee (Denise) Hutchison-Fowler of Clintonville, Ohio; grandchildren Ty and Gaven Fowler-Jones; siblings Gloria (Ray) Brown, Lois (David) Osborne and Janice (Ronald) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Genevieve and Richard Fowler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUENRAL HOME, 103 N Main St London, Ohio with Pastor Roy Hatfield officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service. Graveside services will be held at Paint Township, immediately followed by a reception celebrating Robert's life at the London Depot. All friends and family are welcome to join.
