GIBSON Richard Eugene Gibson, II "Gibby", 63 of Somerford died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in Mt. Carmel Medical Center, Columbus.Born October 22, 1954 in Columbus; he was the son of Richard E. and Miriam (Watts) Gibson. Rick retired from the Madison County Engineers office in March 2017 and was a member of FOE, Aerie #950, London.Survivors include his wife of almost 36 years Pamela M. Gibson; daughters Sarah (Russell) Smith of Amelia, Samantha (Brandon) Seibert of Loveland; grandchildren Avery Rae and Henry James; sister in law Jean (Phil) Hughes of FL, niece Samara Wilson of FL; sisters Pamela K. (Charles) Lane and Joyce Ann Hix both of Galloway, Kimberly E. (Michael) Buechner of Anaheim, CA and Shelby Lynn Gibson of London; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, niece Savannah Sue Wilson, father in law Raymond E. Shonkwiler and uncles Paul and Ralph Watts.
