ARTIS Richard Lee Artis, Jr, 57, of London died Friday, August 12, 2016 in Columbus. Born January 6, 1959 in Columbus; he was a son of Richard Lee and Sharon (Winslow) Artis, Sr. Survivors include his children Jason Artis, Mary Artis, Rikki Jackson and Paul Cooper; his mother Sharon Hall; sisters Yvette (Jeffrey) Artis-Britt, Janine (Falou) Gueye, Kristi Artis, Marla Charleston, Toria Wysor, brother Jeffrey Artis; 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and step-mother Flora Meeks. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father George Hall. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Friday in the Fountain of Truth Ministry, 135 Maple St, London with Pastor Tyrone Artis officiating. Friends may call at the church from 11 AM-12 noon Friday.
