MARTIN

Ree Martin (Betty Blake), matriarch of our family, age 91, of London, Ohio, passed away on February 15, 2022. Daughter of the late Conrad Robert and Clara Marie Blake, and the oldest of six children.

She was a lifelong member of the Westside Freewill Baptist Church and attended many other churches in the London area. Loving the Lord was the single most important thing to her. She passed that knowledge to anyone that would listen. A member of the Lake Choctaw Garden Club, Senior Center and Choctaw Senior Club.

Employee of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, as an executive secretary, for over 32 years of service. After retirement from the railroad, she was employed by the Columbus Dispatch, mostly serving the Lake Choctaw area for another 20 years.

Survived by her brother, Conrad Robert Blake (London), also survived by her sons: Douglas (Jeanine) Martin, David (Teresa) Martin and daughter: Kristen (James) Myers; grandchildren Zackery (Tamara) Martin, Nickolas Martin, Lindsay Martin, Nicole Bailey, Abbigail (Ryan) Buckley and Alexandria Myers; great-grandchildren Autumn, Jacob, Matthew, Steven, Charlie, Norah, Jack, Ridge, Silas, Griffin and the newest addition Gwenevere Ree; many nieces and nephews, which she dearly loved. Extended family, which she laughed with and loved: Tammy Parsell, Peggy Wigmore, Dr. Robinette Huston and Kathleen of Scioto Family Physicians, Clifford and Mary Jane Kelly and Skip and Jana Weithman, and great Christian family and friends, and good neighbors throughout her life.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022, in Somerford Township Cemetery, London.
