With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Rebecca Bell, who left this world peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Madison Health, at the age of 53. Though her life held challenges, it was defined far more by her joy, her determination, and the warmth she brought to everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

A devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Rebecca found comfort, community, and faith among her church family. Her presence there was gentle, but full of spirit, and she enjoyed being part of a congregation that loved her dearly.

Rebecca was a proud and dedicated participant in the Madison County Special Olympics, where she competed with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and a smile that could brighten any day. She especially loved bowling, golfing and bocce ball, activities that brought her both excitement and connection. Whether celebrating a strike at the lanes or making a putt (and she was good at putting!), she found happiness in the simple, steady rhythms of the games she loved.

Rebecca will be remembered for her gentle heart, her playful spirit, and the way she lit up when surrounded by family and friends, but she was also known to be stubborn. Her laughter was unmistakable, her kindness unwavering, and her ability to find joy in everyday moments was a lesson to us all.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Therese (Karl) Koenig, Robert Bell, Elaine (John) Coonley, and Cathy (Blaine) Brockman, in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents Thomas R. Bell and Jennie M. (Sprague) Wyatt-Bell, and brother James Wyatt.

A Celebration of Rebecca's life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, beginning at 4:00 PM and continuing until 7:00 PM at Fairhaven School Gymnasium, 510 Elm Street, London, Ohio, with Pastor Joshua Stibb officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rebecca's name may be sent to benefit MATCO Services, 204 Maple Street, London, Ohio 43140 or the Madison County Special Olympics, 500 Elm Street, London, Ohio 43140.
