SHIPLEY Ralph J. Shipley, 86, of London died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in his residence. Born February 17, 1931 in West Jefferson; he was a son of Dewey and Nora (Miller) Shipley. A life long farmer; Ralph had also been a manager at a London fertilizer plant and warehouse manager at UAW in Lilly Chapel. An avid hunter and fisherman, he had also driven a bus for Fairfield Schools, years ago. Survivors include his loving and devoted partner Susan Goodan-Dyson; children Gary Shipley (Brenda West), Rebecca (Greg) Shipley-Arnott and Shari (Jerry) Mahon; grandchildren Jacob Mahon, Justin Mahon, Mollie Arnott, Jeremy Mahon and Brandon West; brother Raymond Shipley, sister Reba Bricher and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan (Johnson) Shipley; son Rick Shipley, an infant daughter; brother Robert Shipley and sister Rowena Palmer.A celebration of Ralph's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Gary's barn ( Ralph's son) at6605 SR665, London.
