JEWETT

Rae Jean Jewett (Nee: Markham) age 78, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was born on September 26, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio. She was a devoted Wife and Mother and loyal and caring Sister and friend.

She is preceded in death by her Husband of 45 years, Gary D. Jewett, her Father Col. Thomas F. Markham, Mother Virginia Winkler and Sister Jill Stone.

She is survived by her Daughter Joan L. Carrier (Nee: Jewett), Son Mark D. Jewett and Daughter-in-law Rosemary, Son Scott A. Jewett and Daughter-in-law Nicole, and Granddaughter Kylie Rae Jewett, all of Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Sisters Joy Byus of Delaware, Ohio, and Kay Walker and Husband Richard of Sebring, Florida. Her extended family Granddaughter Jeannette and husband Chris Oliver and two great grandchildren Aurora and Glorianne Oliver of Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Per the family's request a Memorial Celebration of Life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital which was dear to her heart, can be sent online to www.stjude.org/donate.
