RYAN Phyllis J. Ryan, 77, of London died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in Riverside Hospital, Columbus. Born September 3, 1936 in Madison Count; she was a daughter of Kenneth C. and Ruth Ellen (Dixon) Foster. For many years, Phyllis had been an assistant for Dr. Martin Markus and then had worked for Roger Wilson and Tim Beathard, Auctioneers. A member of the First Presbyterian Church of London, Phyllis had also volunteered for Food Through Faith Food Cupboard. Survivors include her sisters Marilyn Sue (Tony) Miller and Patricia L. (David) McGuire both of London; nieces and nephews Barbara M. Lambert, Jeffrey F. Kennedy, Deane A. (Jane) McGuire, Diane E. (Tad) Davis, Mark A. (Cindy) McGuire, Sally L. (Max) Cormier, Brian M. (Sheila) McGuire, numerous great nieces and nephews, dear friends Jim Durbin and the Lanigan Family. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Foster and Ruth Cook and husband Robert Ryan. Per Phyllis' request a private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
