WILLIAMS Paul "Doug" Williams, 70, of Plain City, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in his residence. Born November 5, 1942 in Johnson County, Kentucky; he was a son of Buel and Tera (Salyers) Williams. Mr. Williams had been a mechanic most of his life, having owned the former SOHIO and subsequent BP Station in London until 1993. He then worked for Bennett's Wrecker Service before retiring in 2002. He had also served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors include Elinor (Venrick) Williams; son Marlin Williams (Erin Sedlack) of Junction City, Ohio, daughters Marla Mayabb of Plain City and Paula (Dave) Tatman of London; grandchildren Samantha (Scott) Lowery, Kirstie Williams (Tony Dennison), Eric Grizzle (Alexandria Baldwin), Elliott Williams, Koty Williams (Samantha Curtiss), Cory Grizzle, Rian Tatman and Danyael Tatman; great grandchildren Cory Grizzle, Jace Dennison and two on the way; brother Ronnie (Brenda) Williams of Mechanicsburg; sister Faye Fridley of Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Buel Williams and Tera Stidham. According to Paul's wishes, he was cremated and there will not be any visitation nor funeral services. The family is being served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. The family suggests donations be made to the funeral home in Paul's memory.
