Obituary

POWERS Patricia Sue Powers, 70, of London died Friday, May 1, 2015 in her residence. Born July 5, 1944 in London; she was a daughter of Freedman and Marie (Baird) Jones. Sue had worked at the former Ranco in Plain City, retired from Church and Dwight in London and had also worked at Staples in London. She was a long time member of the Center Street Church of Christ in Christian Union and recently attended the Redeemer Freewill Baptist Church. She loved watching her grandchildren and working in her garden and yard as well as canning her garden crops. Survivors include her daughters Penny Lynn Powers and Tracy A. (Chris) Carter both of London and April M. (Chris) Cotten of Tennessee; grandchildren Adam, Katelyn and Nathan Carter all of London, sister Mary Ann (Phil) Henry of Marysville, brothers William "Bo" (Joyce) Jones and Henry "Jim" (Peggy) Jones both of London, sister Debbie Wilson of WCH and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Powers in 1991, brother Charles Jones and infant brother Edward Jones. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Pastor Ronald Hix officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 PM Monday.
