GATES

Patricia L. Gates, 72, of London, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Mount Carmel Hospital, Grove City.

Born April 12, 1951, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of Roy J. and Geneva K. (Edington) Gates.

Patty worked as a nurse for Madison County Hospital for many years. She attended the First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Madison County Senior Citizens.

A cherished friend by many, Patty is survived by a God daughter Kaylee Grooms and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry J. Gates.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Monday, February 19, 2024, in Rushtown Cemetery, McDermott, Ohio with Pastor Timothy Palla of McDermott Christian Church officiating.

Memorials in Patty's name may be made to the Madison County Humane Society, 2020 State Route 142 NE, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162.
