HARTLEY

Patricia "Patty" Ann Hartley, 78, of London, died Sunday, December 31, 2023, in the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.

Born August 12, 1945, in Bowersville, Ohio, she was a daughter of Austin Bell and Dorothy (Smith) Bell. Patty graduated from Greenview High School and went on to obtain her associate degree. She worked as a seamstress for the former Hume & Rayburn in London, as well as the Madison Press where she later retired from. Her favorite pastimes were reading, watching Cincinnati Reds baseball, and college basketball. Patty also loved camping and boating whenever possible! She was a member of the SOITC, an international camping and travel club, and the Madison County Senior Center. Patty also attended the former Plumwood United Methodist Church.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 36 years Donald Hartley; sons Tom (Toni) Daniels, Vance Douglas (Tameisha) Daniels, Scott (Melanie) Hartley; niece who was like a daughter to her Amanda (Brandon) Sandlin, and her children Madison and Logan; granddaughters Andrea (Kurt) Garringer and her children Kaden, Quinn, Ava, Kaitlyn, Kali, and KJ, Ashley (Brandon) Makley and her children Camden and Greyson; sister Connie (Larry) Allen; nieces and nephews Joanie (Milton) Simmons, Lora Stirr, Eddie Allen, Cathy Gingry; many close friends from all over the country, especially in Florida.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jim and sister-in-law Pam Bell, and sister Linda Rieman.

There will be no funeral services in accordance with Patty's wishes.

If they wish, friends may send memorials in Patty's name to the charity of their choice.
