MEADOWS

Pamela Lou Meadows, 72, of London, died suddenly on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Doctors West Hospital, Columbus.

Born April 7, 1952, in West Jefferson, Ohio, she was a daughter of Kenneth Edwards and Betty Jane (Dermer) Edwards.

A graduate of West Jefferson High School, Pamela devoted her life to serving others. She worked as a patient transporter for the Madison County Senior Center as well as transporting both cancer patients and mental health patients for Madison County Hospital. She enjoyed watching classics like Gilligan's Island and I Love Lucy, in addition to more modern thrillers including Criminal Minds and N.C.I.S. Pamela was sure to stay up to date on Facebook, and was an avid player of Facebook games whenever possible. Additionally, she loved spending time with her four-legged companion Rex, an English Mastiff and Great Dane mix who was a gentle giant and enjoyed their bonding time over a bag of powdered doughnuts.

Pamela is survived by son Bryon (Chrisrina Speakman) Edwards and daughter Robbi Crawford; grandchildren Clayton Douglass Carner, Dalton Wood, Autumn Jade Edwards; nephew Mark (Stacy) Dildine, niece Robin Sue Dildine; sisters-in-law Brenda Clifton and Dorothy "Dottie" Mae Cox; beloved dog Rex.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband David Lee Meadows Jr.; sister Kendra (Bob) Dildine, brother Mark Edwards; in-laws David Lee Meadows Sr. and Betty Meadows.

There will be no public services. Cremation will take place in accordance with Pamela's wishes.
