STANHOPE Ollie Jean Stanhope, 79, of South Solon, died Wednesday, November 23 2016 in Washington Court House. Born June 7, 1937 in Breathitt County, KY; she was a daughter of James and Nannie Mae (Smith) Burcham. She attended the New Life Fellowship Church of London, was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and had worked at the Arbors of London. Survivors include her sons Durett L. (Charity) Stanhope and Tim Stanhope; grandchildren Brandon, Shannon, Kasey, Alexa and Emma Stanhope; four great-grandchildren; sisters Ann Morton, Bessie Brewer, Golden Caudill and Vernie Kincaid; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Durett I. Stanhope, one son, two daughters and brother James Burcham. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London. Interment follows in Paint Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM-1 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the funeral home.
