ATWOOD

Norma Jean Atwood, 87, of London, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 23, 2022.

Born July 31, 1934, in Woodman, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Johnny William and Lovis (Smith) Atwood.

Norma had served as a minister as well as a licensed practical nurse throughout her lifetime.

She is survived by her brother James T. Atwood, sister Christine (William) Atwood-Weber, and many nieces and nephews.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; twin infant daughters Miranda Faye and Wanda Kay; brothers John Dennis Atwood, Reverend Daniel Willard Atwood, and Charles Atwood; sisters Marlene Joyce Hackney, Eloise Goodman, and Estell Atwood; dear friend Gladys Saling.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM in Oak Hill Cemetery, 254 Lafayette Street, London. Friends may call the Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home, 103 North Main Street, London, on Friday from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM prior to proceeding to the cemetery for services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Norma's name be sent to either the Madison County Food Pantry at 137 Maple Street, London, Ohio, 43140, or Loving Care Hospice at P.O. Box 445, London, Ohio 43140.
