Nora Marie (Wheeler) Holcomb, 81, of London, died peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Hospice of Central Ohio, Columbus.

Born January 29, 1943, in Blaine, Kentucky, she was a daughter of George Wheeler and Ethel (Hylton) Wheeler.

A 1961 graduate of London High School, Nora went on to dedicate over thirty years working for Purex. Nora was filled with endless love for her kids and even more for her grandkids. She also adored the many cats she was blessed to care for over the years. A sports enthusiast, Nora enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes, and her absolute favorite, the Cleveland Cavaliers of which she was sure to never miss a game.

Nora leaves behind a rich legacy through her son Mickey (Sonja) Holcomb; grandchildren Marc (Brandy) Holcomb and Marah (Robert) Pace; great-grandchildren Abby, Millie, Owen, Evan, Marc, Autumn, Tryston, Brennon, Robert, and Jessica; siblings Sylvia Skaggs, Jack Wheeler, Charles Osborne, Donny Osborne, Phyllis Young, and Mary (Raymond) Cooper; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; good friend Tony Satterfield.

In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her loving husband Melvin "Ike" Holcomb; infant son Michael; brothers Elmer and George Wheeler; sister Juanita Osborne.

Nora's family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 12:00 noon – 2:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. Graveside services will then follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, London, with Rev. Ken Skaggs and Rev. Debbie Tackett officiating.
