HART

Nora Jean Hart of Hilliard, OH died on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, after a brief illness. Born November 27, 1949, to Jesse and Maxine (Houck) Hart, Nora spent her childhood in Madison County among a bevy of cousins before moving to the greater Columbus area to pursue her career as an RN.

Nora retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital after 40 years of service. In her role as a night shift Nursing Administrator, she met each challenge with a mix of empathy, levelheaded problem-solving, and good humor.

An avid reader, occasional gardener, and lover of animals, Nora could find the greatest adventures in the smallest of places. She gave sensible advice to her friends and loved her family fiercely. As a mother she was always on her daughter's side.

Nora is survived by her daughter, Kendra (Erin) Hart Daly of Dayton, OH, and her brother, Edd (Carla) Hart of Forsyth, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 21 at Somerford Township Cemetery, 1880 State Route 56, London, Ohio 43140. A wake and potluck will follow at 4:00 PM at Cowling Park, 175 N Main St, London OH, 43140.
