SCAGGS Naomi L. Scaggs, 91, of London, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Arbors, West Jefferson. Born October 5, 1925 in Idaho, Ohio; she was a daughter of Millie (Spurgess) and Robert Hopper. Naomi had faithfully attended the Newport Church of Christ in Christian Union for many years, until her health did not allow her to continue. Survivors include her children Jay (Carole) Scaggs, Carol (Roger) Adams and Steven L. (Beth) Scaggs all of London; grandchildren Edward (Wendy) Scaggs, Brian (Jeanine) Scaggs, Christopher (Jessica) Scaggs, Shaun Scaggs, Dwayne (Jennifer) Scaggs, Jason (Rae) Scaggs. Jena (Eric) Evans, Steven C. Scaggs (Amber), Monica (Steve) Redding, Laura (Ray) Payne and Stephanie (Garrett) Carter; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Preston (Betty) Hopper, Melvin (Seretha) Hopper, Wyvona Ward, Thelma Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews including Jack (Georgia) Scaggs; Sister in law Elsie (Wendell) See and brother in law Glockus Scaggs. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Charles Scaggs, son Charlie Scaggs, granddaughter Lisa Scaggs, brothers George, Hobart and David Hopper and sisters Ruby Hopper and Mary Birch. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life memorial from 5-7 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Burial in Kirkwood Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
