WHITE

Nannie V. White, 73, of Decatur, TN, formerly of London, died Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in her residence.

Born June 14, 1951, in Richmond, Virginia, she was a daughter of Glen and Flora (Owens) Whited.

Nannie had worked as a nursing assistant. She loved watching nature, especially the birds and squirrels. She especially enjoyed going to the casino where she played poker, drank her coffee and could smoke to her heart's content.

Surviving are her children Teresa Brown, Brian (Charlene) White, Clayton (Shantel) White and Jason (Gabrielle) White; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five bonus great-grandchildren; siblings Garland (Dottie) Whited, Bonnie (Bill) Weimer, Charlie (Jeannette) Whited, John Henry Whited and Kathy (Bill) Harsh; numerous nieces and nephews and brother-in-law David Weimer.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband George White, Jr., siblings Kyle Whited, Mack (Mildred) Whited, Barbara Weimer, Dodie (Nick) Nicodemus; in-laws Williard "Bill" White, Delorise "Sue" Williams and Evelyn Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Monday, November 11, 2024, in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London with Pastor Mike Casto officiating.
