SARK

Nancy Jane Sark, 78, of London, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in Mount Carmel East Hospital, following an acute illness.

Born July 26, 1945, in Ross County, she was a daughter of Delbert Richards and Nada (Templin) Richards.

Nancy enjoyed any and all crafts, including ceramics. She has a special talent for crocheting and quilting, and enjoyed making items for her family and friends. Additionally, Nancy enjoyed spending time in her kitchen baking sweet treats and canning various goods. An avid animal lover, Nancy enjoyed all animals, especially spending time with her dogs.

Nancy is survived by daughter Sandra Kay (Michael) Thissen of Columbus and son Gerald Lee Sark Jr. of London; grandson Christopher Evans; great-granddaughter Lily Evans; brother James Delbert (Barb) Richards, sisters Ann (Martin) Vulgamore; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald Lee Sark, daughter Kellie Sue Sark, sisters Sue Dike and Marilyn Morris.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM in the funeral home, with Pastor Wayne Stuntz officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
