Nancy Jo
(Diller) Donahue
February 3, 1943 – June 15, 2026
DONAHUE
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nancy Jo (Diller) Donahue, 83, formerly of Sciotoville and Chillicothe, who passed on Monday, June 15, 2026, in Grove City.
Nancy was born February 3, 1943, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was a daughter of Lillian (Wright) and Albert Diller. Nancy spent her youth lighting up the sidelines as a cheerleader for Minford High School, where she also performed as a majorette. She carried that same high-energy enthusiasm and poise with her throughout her entire life. If there was music playing, Nancy would be the first one dancing.
A proud member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority in Chillicothe; Nancy had also worked for the Ross County Treasurer’s Office. Nancy was rarely seen without her favorite shade of red lipstick, was a fiercely devoted fan of Ohio State Football, and deeply cherished time spent with her husband, Roger, as well as her favorite grandson Joel whom she affectionately called “Joel Babe”, above all else.
She lived out loud, danced wherever she could, and kept everyone laughing. Nancy had a sharp wit and absolutely loved telling jokes, always eager to bring a smile to anyone who would listen.
Survivors include her daughters Michelle Anderson and Stephanie (Toriano) Tsosie; grandson Joel Donahue (fiancé Maya); sister Vickie (Butch) McGinnis, brother Jim Diller; many nieces, nephews and cousins; Nancy’s in-laws Larry Hickson, Ron (Janet) Donahue, Karen (Jack) Edler and Marla (Harty) Wallingford.
Preceding Nancy in death were her parents Albert and Lillian, her husband Roger Donahue and sisters Janet Hisckson, Wanda (Gene) Lewis and Norma (Smitty) Smith, and Joan (Terry) Mahley.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family is being served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio, where online condolences may be shared at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
