MITCHELL

Milton Alonzo "Tony" Mitchell, 69, of London, died Monday, June 13, 2022, in his residence.

Born September 11, 1952, in Urbana, he was a son of Milton R. and Geraldine Elizabeth (Saunders) Mitchell.

A US Army veteran, Tony had also been a factory worker.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Jean E. (Freeman) Mitchell; children Darin Wade (Kelly) Vermillion, Toni Annette Mitchell Barnett and Joshua Allen Mitchell, stepson Reed (Dru) Collins; grandchildren Jordan Scott Vermillion, Jascey Dawn Vermillion, George Allen Barnett, Tameika Renee Geraldine Barnett, Kaleigh LaShea Althouse, Jordan Matthew Evans, Darian Collins and Aubree Collins; great grandson Tylon Mundy; siblings Belinda Denise Mitchell, twin sister Michelle Annette (Frank) West, Crystal Nadene (Daniel) West, Lionel Curtis (Tracey) Mitchell and Noelle (Eric) Mitchell Lee; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Phillip Sterling Mitchell and niece Leslie Mitchell.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 24, 2022, in Deercreek Township Cemetery, Lafayette.
