PITTS Millicent Louise (Ames) Pitts, 88, of London, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 in her residence. Born April 4, 1930 in London, Ohio; she was a daughter of Dewey and Grace (Hix) Ames. Survivors include her children Ralph Ackley, Georgia (Jim) Wilkins, Alfred Richard (Lil) Ackley, Carol Newsome, Milton "Bill" (Kelly) Pitts, Teresa Landis and Norman (Ela) Pitts; 166 aggregate total of grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren; 5 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews and former husband Arthur "Bud" Pitts. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren April Ackley and Brock Parker; 5 sisters and 1brother. The family wishes to thank the staff of Loving Care Hospice for all their help and prayers throughout the past year. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Rev. Jerry Poff officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Monday and from 11 AM until time of services Tuesday.
