COX Michael Christopher "Chris" Cox, 56 of London, died Monday, November 6, 2017 in his residence. Born April 17, 1961 in Columbus; he was a son of Rosemarie Cox and William "Hoot" Hoosier. Chris had been a corrections officer starting at London Correctional and retiring from Madison Correctional after 26 years. He had also been a driver for the former 3-C Cab Co. and recently started his own company. Survivors include his brothers Dwight "Spunky" Cox and Mark Cox; nieces and nephews Jermal Napper and Gabrielle Cox, Abriel Mathias Cox and Moshe Mathias Cox; aunts and uncles Frank Cox, Gus Hoosier, Jenny Gholston, Jackie Boronell and JoAnn Payne; a host of cousins including Jacqueline Schook and Daniel (Aquinetta) Polley, many friends and his beloved dog "Sid". He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jeffrey I. Cox and Uncle William "Bill" Cox. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday in St. Paul AME Church with Rev. Melvyn Huguely officiating. Interment will follow in Deercreek Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Friday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N.
