HART Maxine Hart passed at 7 PM on December 22, 2014 at her home. She was 98 years old. She was born December 16, 1916 at Rosedale, Ohio the daughter of John W. and Nora (Crabbe) Houck; the oldest of five children. She was retired from the Federal Government Department of Agriculture with thirty years of service. She was a member of the Lafayette Methodist Church. Maxine was a 4-H leader, Sunday school teacher, member of the Twentieth Century Club, Married Ladies Thimble Club, and the DAR. She was an avid card player. She is survived by one son, Edd (Carla) Hart of Sarasota, Fl; one daughter, Nora Jean Beatty of Hilliard, Ohio; and one granddaughter Kendra Healy of Dayton, Ohio. She is also survived by two sisters, Jean Bailey of Richmond, In. and Mary Jane Guy of Milford Center, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jesse Hart, brother Harold Houck and sister Eilene Siebold Funeral services will be held at the Lafayette United Methodist Church on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow at Somerford Township Cemetery, London. Visitation will be at the Lafayette United Methodist Church on Sunday from 2-5PM.
